Light Maintenance Around the Crank

I hear a strange noise around the bottom bracket (BB), so I'm going to take a look. First, I remove the cap with an 8mm Allen wrench.

It came out. This is the noise. If I apply grease and reassemble it, the noise should disappear, probably.

I removed the right side as well. It was quite loose. That's dangerous.

Reassembled in the end. I couldn't check the BB, but the cause of the noise is probably the square taper at the base of the crank. I'll ride it tomorrow and check.
